Terms of Service

Version terms-2026-05-30 · Last updated: 30/05/2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Compliance Track ("we", "us", "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Compliance Track is a software tool that helps UK employers organise records relating to sponsored workers, right to work checks, document storage, and deadline reminders. It does not file anything with the Home Office on your behalf and does not represent you in any regulatory matter.

2. No advice

Compliance Track provides information, reminders, and record keeping tools only. It does not provide legal advice or immigration advice within the meaning of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, and nothing in the service constitutes advice on the circumstances of any individual or organisation. You must not rely on Compliance Track as a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor or an immigration adviser regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority.

3. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for your organisation's compliance with all immigration, employment, and other legal obligations, including your duties as a sponsor licence holder and your right to work checking obligations. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you enter, and for verifying any information, date, or requirement against current Home Office and gov.uk guidance before acting on it. The reminders and outputs in Compliance Track are generated from the information you provide and are aids to organisation only. They do not guarantee compliance and do not reduce or remove your legal responsibilities.

4. Account, access, and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must not misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload unlawful content, infringe the rights of others, or use the service to process personal data you have no lawful basis to process.

5. Payment, trial, and cancellation

Compliance Track is offered on a subscription basis with a three day free trial. Fees, plan limits, and billing cycles are set out on the pricing page and are payable in advance. You may cancel at any time from within your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no refunds are given for partial periods unless required by law. We may suspend or terminate access for non payment or breach of these terms.

6. No warranty

The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. We do not warrant that the information in the service is accurate, complete, or current, that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any reminder will be generated or delivered. Immigration rules change frequently and may change before the service is updated.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Compliance Track and its operators will not be liable for any civil penalty, fine, sponsor licence downgrade, suspension or revocation, loss of profit, loss of business, reputational harm, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, or from any error, omission, missed reminder, or inaccuracy. Your use of the service is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Compliance Track against any claim, loss, penalty, or cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your failure to meet your own legal obligations.

9. Data protection and data processing

For personal data you upload about your employees, you are the controller and Compliance Track is the processor. Our processing of that data is governed by the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. For your own account and billing data, Compliance Track is the controller. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When the changes are material, we will notify you and require you to re accept the updated terms before continuing to use the service. Each acceptance is recorded against your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service or these terms.
